The elements themselves are beautiful, but not practical without the underlying software that makes the theme work. The Crystal Black Theme provides superior usability for its glossy black interface elements. How come? With Crystal Black, you can make toolbar items display large or small, with text or without, just as you can with all other toolbars. By default, the toolbars of an application's Preferences window can't be customized. If app updates overwrite Crystal Black's custom graphics, you can easily reinstall CB's graphics to keep the theme looking spick and span.

A handy feature passed down from CCI, you can find these tools in Crystal Black's global menu or in a contextual menu that shows up wherever you're editing rich text. Stickies? Pop in a ruler, table, list, etc.
